LCOZ at the 67th Berlin International Film Festival

Robert Pattinson will be in attendance for the premiere of the Lost City of Z at the Berlinale Film Festival. Based on David Grann’s bestselling novel, the movie tells the tale of Lieutenant Colonel Percy Fawcett, the British military-man-turned-explorer whose search for a lost city deep in the Amazon grows into an increasingly feverish, decades-long magnificent obsession. This will be Robert’s third visit to the Berlinale Film Festival. Having previously attended in 2012 for Bel Ami, and making a return visit in 2015 for Anton Corbijn’s James Dean’s biographical drama, Life. We should also note that this will be Rob’s fourth major international film festival exposure. Most recently attending the 2016 WW premier for the Lost City of Z at the New York Film Festival, where it enjoyed the prestigious closing night slot. He also walked the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival twice.  The first time was in 2012 for David Cronenberg’s Cosmopolis, and putting in double duty in 2014 for David Michôd’s Australian dystopian drama, the Rover and Cronenberg’s classic, Maps to the Stars. Finally, he also attended the Toronto Film Festival in 2014 for Maps to the Stars.  The pic’s below are being posted courtesy of Getty Images
